University of New England Surgical and Emergency Society

UNESES is the University of New England’s Surgical and Emergency Society which aims to provide opportunities for you to learn more about surgery and critical care. We hold several practical workshops where you can develop valuable skills, ranging from basic suturing and resuscitation to more advanced specialist techniques and emergency care.

UNESES also hosts a variety of exciting events that you can get involved in throughout the year, ranging from speaker nights to scrub crawls and much more. Everyone's welcome to get involved, so come along to our events - even if you’re not interested in becoming a surgeon!
