General practice students network

The General Practice Students Network (GPSN) is a student run organisation that seeks to foster interest in General Practice and promote it as a specialty of choice.  This group focuses on sharing the amazing benefits of a life and career in general practice, while clarifying any misconceptions people may have about this unique specialty.  There are many amazing events that run throughout the year - the annual Trivia Night, Clinical Skills day, First Incision Photobooth, Red Flags Night and plenty more!

GPSN isn’t a group just for people who want to become GPs – everyone’s welcome, and there are plenty of fun opportunities to get involved in.  Learn skills such as venepuncture, plastering and suturing that will be valuable for a career in medicine, listen to inspiring clinicians talk about their love for general practice and also meet and network with other students who have an interest in general practice through the John Murtagh First Wave Scholarship Program.

Come along to our events if this sounds like what you’re interested in!  If you would like more info, check out www.gpsn.org.au
