25/07/13 - ASPIRE International Speaker Night

Event: ASPIRE International Speaker Night
Date: Thursday 25th July 2013
Time: 6:00PM (nibblies) for  a 6:30PM start
Where: P1 Lecture Theatre, Patricia O'Shane Building, School of Rural Medicine, University of New England

It's one thing to practice medicine in Australia, but it's a completely different ball game to practice it in a third world country. Dr Nihal Nanda has done just that.

Dr Nihal grew up and trained in India, he then migrated to Australia where he had a very successful practice on the North shore. Years later he decided to give back to Australia, the country which had been so kind to him and moved rural to practice as a physician at the Armidale Hospital.

He has an amazing history and is a fantastic speaker

Even if your not interested in Global health I can guarantee you will learn a lot from this amazing speaker. There will also be other speakers sharing their stories with us on the night. Come along for an insightful evening!

** Nibbles are at 6 for a 6.30 start***

* Note - a lot of people get this confused this is NOT Dr Nihad Abu-Asab the obstetrician, who also has a great life story but a lot of you would have heard him speak before
